He regularly assists patients with diabetes care, skin cancer checks, men’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, iron infusion consultations and preventative healthcare. About Dr John Joseph
Dr John Joseph is an experienced General Practitioner who is passionate about providing personalised, patient-centred healthcare for individuals and families across all stages of life. Originally from Egypt, John migrated to Australia at the age of 12 and is fluent in both English and Arabic. His bilingual background allows him to support a diverse patient community while helping individuals feel comfortable, understood and confident throughout their healthcare journey. After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2002, Dr Joseph joined Paradise Medical Centre as a General Practice Registrar in 2010 before obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011. Since then, he has become a valued member of the practice, developing long-term relationships with patients and their families. Dr Joseph has a strong interest in diabetes management and works closely with Nurse Helen Potts through the clinic’s Diabetes Management Program. He also enjoys supporting patients with skin checks, chronic disease management, men’s health and general family medicine. Known for his approachable and non-judgemental style, Dr Joseph believes healthcare should focus on the whole person, taking into consideration not only physical health but also lifestyle, education and long-term wellbeing. Outside of medicine, John enjoys spending time with his family, raising his two young children and remaining actively involved within the local community.
