About Dr Huy Dinh

Dr Huy Dinh is an experienced General Practitioner who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred healthcare for individuals and families throughout every stage of life. Born in Vietnam and raised in Adelaide, Huy completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2006. Following graduation, he spent four years working at Lyell McEwin Hospital where he gained valuable experience in General Medicine and Palliative Care. These experiences helped shape his approach to healthcare and reinforced the importance of supporting patients not only medically, but emotionally and personally throughout their healthcare journey. Recognising the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and families, Huy pursued General Practice training and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. Today, he enjoys all aspects of general practice but has particular interests in palliative care, children’s health and chronic disease management. His calm, compassionate nature and commitment to personalised care have made him a valued member of the Oakden Medical Centre team. Outside of medicine, Huy enjoys travelling, listening to music and exploring fine red wines from around the world.
