Dr Mark is passionate about building strong relationships with his patients and delivering healthcare that evolves alongside their changing needs throughout life. About Dr Mark Waksmundzki
Dr Mark Waksmundzki is one of the longest-serving doctors within the Paradise Medical Centre team, having cared for local individuals and families since 1995. After completing his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 1993, Mark gained valuable hospital experience through placements at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Lyell McEwin Hospital and Women’s & Children’s Hospital. He obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1997 and has remained committed to providing high-quality family healthcare throughout his career. Over the years, Mark has developed long-term relationships with multiple generations of local families, supporting patients through every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through to adulthood and later years. His areas of interest include men’s health, children’s health, preventative healthcare and chronic disease management. Mark enjoys working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve better long-term health outcomes through education, early intervention and ongoing healthcare support. Outside of medicine, Mark enjoys following AFL football, cricket and tennis, while also maintaining an active lifestyle through regular bushwalking.
